Relay lets businesses offer an AI chat assistant on their websites. Unchained sets up and operates each assistant for the business, which provides the information it answers from. We may improve, change or retire features over time.

Assistants answer from information the business provides, and are designed to say when they don't know and to hand off to a person. Even so, AI can make mistakes. Answers aren't a guarantee of price, availability, delivery dates or terms, and aren't legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

Before you rely on an answer for something important, like a purchase or a deadline, confirm it with the business directly.

When using a Relay assistant, the portal or this site, please don't:

• try to make an assistant ignore its instructions, reveal how it's configured, or say things on a business's behalf that it shouldn't;
• send unlawful, harassing or harmful content, or other people's personal information without the right to share it;
• overload, probe or disrupt the service, or use automated tools to scrape it;
• access accounts, data or areas you aren't authorized to use, or embed a Relay assistant on a site it isn't set up for.

We may limit or block access that breaks these rules or puts the service or other people at risk.

Accounts are for the person they were issued to. Keep access to your email secure, since it's how you sign in, and tell your company's owner or Unchained if you think your account has been misused. Owners are responsible for who they invite and the changes their team publishes.

Businesses keep ownership of the information they provide and of their conversations with visitors; they grant us permission to use it to run their assistant. Relay itself, including its software, design and the Unchained and Relay names, belongs to Unchained. You may not copy or resell it.

Except as stated in a signed agreement, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every answer will be accurate.

To the extent the law allows, Unchained isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on an assistant's answers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. Continuing to use Relay after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions? Contact us.
